According to wikipedia, it is properly known as the King Mackerel.
It sounds like good eats, despite the fact I don't really like fish.
I haven't been fishing for over a year, I sure miss getting out on a boat with some beers and catching a couple fish.

it is indeed, but down here and throughout Florida we refer to it strictly as Kingfish.

and it's delicious.

Dotheads all over the world agree on both counts. It's kingfish, and it's delicious. We stew it in a brown curried gravy.

today was simple, mojitos, brats, grilled peaches with vanilla icecream and a whiskey/brown sugar/honey/nutmeg/cinnamon marinade/reduction.

And lots of beers.

good on ya, D. Loves me some fishing, mang.

I slow grilled two pork shoulders, slathering them with mopping sauce every 30 minutes for about 7 hours.

Also made a couple different kinds of salsa with ingredients right out of the Redlands garden. (one version was fucking fire--I gotta bottle this shit and start making some REAL money, bubba.)

i've been meaning to ask you about this garden. This is all the backyard that i've got (which isn't too bad for around here), and I'm wondering what I can successfully grow back'ere:
Image. Any advice for a first-timer?

You can grow LOTS, Chase! But, first of all, how much shade does that tree provide?
