depends how wide it is too. i got a cut on my leg a couple of years ago that stopped bleeding after like 20 minutes but i have a pretty good sized scar on my leg now. scars are cool though.

I think than you're looking for the Women's Outreach group.

a guy at work cut a tendon in his finger when a drill bit broke sending the drill with half a bit into his finger. He thought he was all better, and then he realized he couldn't bend it AT ALL. So he had to go have some surgery to get it fixed, which caused it to swell up and looks like a sausage and it's been 4 weeks or so. He said it should be swollen for a few more weeks. He has to go to therapy where they bend it.

My man.

The cut's nasty, but it's fine. I cleaned it again and the bleeding has stopped.

Bad news, though. I bought myself a new pair of pants today and when I tried them on, apparently the bleeding hadn't stopped. Bloody pants. Gross. I'm going to return them tomorrow.

I also made myself a delicious veggie sandwich at Movies in the Park at Grant Park (Rebel Without a Cause, by the way). Rye bread with forty spices hummus, tomatoes and cucumber. Hold the watercress. Hells yeah. Now I must sleep. My company's working me like a slave and I've got to be up again in five hours. Boooo.

If you lie and say you got caught up in a crime-scene as you left the mall where you bought the pants, yes.

no way. i would break the replacement chair anyway. i'm going to jasmine-rig the thing to make it indestructable.

re: the pants, i bought them yesterday and i'll just say, "omg! there's, like, blood on these pants. i want my money back." it'll work.

*ONE MORE QUESTION*

does anyone know anything about painting? i've got a houseguest for pitchfork and i'm horribly embarrassed by my white walls which are riddled with bb holes and scuff marks. my living area is about 500 square feet, i'd guess, so how much paint will i need? actually, the paint store should know that, right?

My father is a painter, I should be able to help, but I cannot.

I can tell you to go to a nice little paint store and ask as opposed to a Home Depot or Lowes, though.

I say you just put the BB Gun on the table, an aluminum bucket of PBR next to the couch, and NASCAR on the tee-vee. It's cheaper and more authentic that way...

Think of it in a theme park way - like if Disney World had a "Adventureland" that truly represented the people that go there, as opposed to dancing ballerina hippos.

Oh wait... never mind.

my cd player is skipping. it's a five disc changer and it's making mush out of oldbullee's amazing nawlins inspired mix. it's started doing this with other cds as well. is there a way to clean it? some maintenance that i should be keeping up with?

danke.

You can buy a laser lens cleaner--a special cd with a little brush on it--and pray to God it's not a mechanical error.

Yeah... If it's a mechanical error, and you have a rotating-tray model, your CD player's pretty much toast...

Will cost almost as much as a new one to fix it...

On the bright side, if that CD player is toast, It'll give you something besides the wall to shoot BB's at...

thanks.

i'm hopeful that it skips because i abuse my cds. i was listening to a sun ra disc yesterday (original disc, not a copy, and rarely played) and it didn't skip at all. still, a good cleaning can't hurt.

On the one hand, I hope they don't end up calling CD services on you..

However, on the other hand, I kinda hope they do because I've registered as a foster parent, and all they've been sending me are these stupid kids. I was hoping for Steve Garvey or, at the very least, a woman who knows when to shut up and make me some tacos...

Hi, welcome again to my question thread.

Last night, I started downloading a video from the Zapr thingie. It stopped downloading at about 34%. That little bit that's downloaded, where can I find it? I had it downloading to a folder on my desktop, but there's nothing in the folder which indicates that it's there. Does this mean that I have 34% of a video somewhere on my computer? (I'm not good with these download things)
