Here.

I thought it was great. Not too much at all - it's really funny much of the time, and not all that depressing.

thanks. searching "Brick" just didn't seem to have any way to discern the relevance of the results.

yeah, i wasn't trying to call you out, i just figured there'd be something in there. phpbb's search is almost inconceivably awful. its only purpose is to cause security holes, a task at which it excels.

Just watched it, and I've got to say early impressions is best US film of the past 10 years. Beautiful. Very Shakespearean. Amazing.

It's great, especially if you're a fan of American hard-boiled noir films of the 50's.

Good example of movie that could've been a trainwreck, but worked out great.

The dude in it who plays "The Pin" looks a lot like Senor Six.

That's Lucas Haas, the little kid from Witness. He's good in this. Big ears.

That chase scene with just the sound of the shoes and boots is great.

Yeah they even looked the same as kids. The Senor doesn't have ears like that though. But apart from that the similarity is striking and a little spooky.

Yeah, I thought the whole thing was well done. Really like the main guy.

I'll admit, It took me a little while to get past the "high school melodrama" aspect of it, but I still loved it. Though I guess it couldn't have been noir without it.

I hope it's as good the second time through.
