Dead Like Me

Much more clever than I expected.

Have you been catching the episodes on SciFi as well?

That's exactly what I thought about the show.

Yeah, I've been watching it on Sci-Fi. It's got the dark-funny of Buffy and the guest star calibre of Nip/Tuck and doesn't seem to worry that whimsicality mixed with macabre has never gone over very well ratings-wise.

I like how the surface light touches and veneer of silliness mask damaged and scared people (or undead people). And I like how apparent it is the actors know the writers and director are funny and appreciate the chance to deliver such retarded/funny lines.

As the show progresses (if it's allowed to), there would probably be more darkness in it, but that would be the right way to go about the show.

Very much agreed, spoon.

My brother is a big SciFi channel watcher and I happened to be around when he put it on, I groaned and then found myself not leaving the room.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed this show. I think the first season was much better than the second/last season.

I hope Sci-Fi makes new episodes. I never saw it on Showtime because it's been three years since I had any pay stations.

I started watching this show last week and really like it. I didn't know it was already several years old.

Yeah, I thought it was a pretty good show. Kind of shitty it got canned so soon, reminds me of Carnivale that way. It had some good ideas to work with for the future.
