Blech. That movie sucks balls, and is even worse since it includes baseball.

Besides, the best crash nickname is Cliff "Capt. Crash" Harris.

As for Berman, I liked him for his 'color' during the baseball season, but hate him as the 'Swami' during football season. Another thing I can't stand about Berman is his undying love for the SF Giants. I live across the Bay and I f**kin hate the Giants.

i thought berman was a red sox fan?

also, you're the only person i have ever heard of liking his baseball color more than his football work. he ruins every broadcast, especially when teamed up with sutcliffe. that could possibly be even worse than a tbs broadcast that includes chip caray.

In September of 1999, Berman was honored by his boyhood team, the San Francisco Giants, with the privilege of throwing out the first pitch at one of the final games ever at historic Candlestick Park. He is proud to say that he's the only guy East of the Rockies to have a patch of outfield grass from Candlestick and Pac Bell Park growing in his backyard.

One of my all-time favorites is "The Admiral" (David Robinson).

"Smokin' Joe" Frazier is pretty much the coolest boxing nickname ever.

And staying with that ring/flames theme, I can't think of a wrasslin' nickname I liked better than "Wildfire" Tommy Rich.

Oh, and try as I might, I can't not like "He Hate Me," despite the implicit directive to do so.

way to diffuse that argument with passive agressiveness, doctor.

does it count as a nickname that I referred to Rayfield Wright as "Rapefield" almost constantly last Saturday during the HoF ceremony?

I had to revive this thread after hearing Gilbert Arenas's nickname is Agent Zero, that is a pretty good one.

How many athletes have the GARS dubbed "Rape"?

If more than fifteen, does it even count as a nickname anymore? Wouldn't it really just be a euphemism (well, not really) for n*****?

I've heard the Hawks announcers call Josh Smith "Employee #5" which I think is pretty cool...

Yeah, but isn't that just a ripoff of Antoine Walker's Celtic nickname, back when he didn't suck?
