I'm pretty sure Sanz and Armison are the two unfunniest comedians ever. SNL goes through cycles. It'll be back..........Maybe.

For some reason when I see a comedian crack up like him or Jimmy Fallon, it makes what is going on seem funnier. I don't think it's professional, but I do think it has it's place in live performances.

im glad to see tina fey go. she was a very good comedian when she was on screen, but her tenure as head writer was disastrous. that being said however, i havent seen anything in seth myers that makes me think he'll do any better.

I will allow no negative Tina Fey talk. She wrote the greatest movie in the 21st century, Mean Girls.

Sanz is terrible. Thank god he's gone.

Parnell was occasionally alright but mostly annoying.

Fey and Thompson didn't add much to the show, really.

I will miss Rachel Dratch, though.

Yep - they've had some of the funnier moments in the past terrible years of SNL (well, when Fallon was on, I mean.) The sketches were usually terrible, but putting Fallon and Sanz together usually meant there's going to be some fun to be had simply because those two were like a couple of giggling idiots together, and that usually was the ONLY fun to be had on SNL.

SNL needs to cough up some big bucks and have a Celebrity SNL season - bring back the best they've ever had, all in one season. Well, the living ones. Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Eddie Murphy, Dan Aykroyd, Dana Carvey, etc. Most of them, besides Martin and Murray, aren't doing much anymore anyway. With good writers, this could be incredible. Sure, it would be an ego nightmare, but just imagine - actual comedy could happen.

My wife would probably kill both Fallon and Sanz for less than a ten spot.

I remember the first time I went to an improv show at Second City several years ago. At the show I saw, the entire cast was great/sharp except for one guy who seemed slow and significantly less funny than the rest. That man was Horatio Sanz.

good idea, though I don't think steve martin was ever an actual cast member...he just hosted...a lot.

The biggest loss of those leaving this year is Kenan. Some of those staying, namely Sudeikis, Hader, Rudolph and Forte, are pretty good. The rest are either hit-or-miss (Samberg, Poehler, Myers, Armisen), flat-out suck (Myers, Mitchell, Wiig), or have worn out their welcome (Hammond, who has seemingly been on SNL longer than Lorne Michaels himself)

No kidding. I forgot about him. I really don't need another season full of Donald Trump and Bill O'Reilly sketches.

That's pretty much all he does, these days.
