Would THIS be enough to get you to come to SXSW in March???

Nothing has yet been firmed up, but executives at Hip Displeasure are currently undergoing intense marathon negotiations at the bargaining table with representatives from The BlooGAR Show™ to have episodes broadcast all week in Austin from SXSW 2006.

Depending on the availability of Bloor's lumbering oaf of a sidekick (he claims possible work conflicts, but we all know it's much more likely he simply won't have been able to make bail -- or even if he is, the ankle monitoring bracelet will send massive voltage through his GAR nervous system the second he crosses the Alabama-Louisiana state line), this might be Bloor with a rotating cast of special guest co-hosts (which, theoretically could include YOU if you actually manage to stow away in the wheelwell of a 747 and survive the high altitude hypothermia en route to TEH A-TX).

IF THIS ISN'T ENOUGH TO FINALLY GET YOU TO SXSW AFTER ALL THESE YEARS, YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY NOT GETTING SUFFICIENT OXYGEN TO THE BRAIN AND WILL BE CRASHING AT THE "SCHIAVO SLEPT HERE" BED & BREAKFAST THROUGH A TUBE BY THAT TIME, ANYWAY!

I am 98% not coming (again) this year.
And I haven't been asked to put out in 9 years -- as of today!
So... who knows?

Alabama, Mississippi...really, what's the difference? Probably about $50 in annual median income and maybe reading at a Pre-K level versus reading at a third trimester level.

If I had my druthers, you would be on hand at SXSW. But in reality, I know you'll be too busy corralling contributions to Cletus Terwilliger's re-election bid for Montgomery County Dogcatcher. We've got to have a contingency plan, Loogs.

What's GENIUS about Texas is I managed to earn a HS diploma, Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree all in this state WITHOUT EVER SPENDING ONE SECOND IN A GEOMETRY CLASS! I am so S-M-R-T!!!

Look here, Lummox, you are starting to sound like the Al Haig of Hip-D ("Bob's in CONTROL HERE!!!) There is no "BlooGAR Show"/"Coke or Smoke Roundtable" without me. He can go out there and set up the equiptment and get all of the dot heads, mustachoied letharios, undercover psych0paths, lummoxes and visiting mailmen he wants on the air, but the very THOUGHT of such a show without me is preposterous.
