You know what i'm digging down here that they don't have (as far as I know in IL)? Chick Fil-A.

I'll give you an inside tip: Get a side of "Buffalo" sauce (used for nuggets) to dip your waffle fries and maybe even your sandwich in.

I have to give Derris credit for this development, but it is fucking GOLD.

Never even heard of Chick Fil-A. Is this a must try next month?

First, Loog, you are so gar you make me wanna cry.

DJ, yes, you must try Chick-Fil-A. Don't build it up too much but it kills any chicken sandwich out there. Very simple. No frills. Just the way they cook it just tastes better. It's about $1 more than your avg. value meal at any other fast food joint.

Also, if you're looking to spend a little more than for fast food while you're here you should go to Mary Mac's Tea Room. It's traditional southern cooking. Meat and two with assorted breads. The most expensive thing on the menu is $17 and that's the Seafood platter. Most range from $10-$12 and it's fantastic. All meals served with the Table Wine of the South (Sweet Iced Tea).

Pretty close to your hotel I think.

This sounds like something I need to try. Trad southern food is top of my list of 'must do'.

Still considering it. Chick-fil-a does sweeten the deal.

I woke up last weekend, still in my clothes, with food from McDonald's next to my bed untouched. I tried to eat it but by then it was even grosser.
