I knew that excuse would be broken out eventually. Seahawks fans on their message board all week said that they were still 3-0 with Alexander performing like crap so far.

You read the Seahawk message boards?

No excuses here. A healthy Alexander would have made no difference. Bears dominated Seattle tonight. Hat's off.

Hope to see you again in the playoffs.

I am officially sold on the Bears. They look like the best team out there right now.

seahawks.scout.com, yeah. Didn't post there before tonight. But I did a little drunken gloating.

I'm sure you will. I was still nervous going into the fourth quarter.

But let's not forget, this was the spanking of all spankings so far this year.

Dude, I just posted that this was a dominant performance by your team 20 minutes ago---I don't think I've forgotten yet. Thanks for the reminder, though.

I still hope to see you again in the playoffs.

I'll be in town in 10 days. I'll pay up then. I'll PM you some details closer to the time.

Nice game by the Bears. I don't see them losing until they go to New England.

not sure if the bears are that good or the hawks are that bad or somewhere in between. this nfl season is impossible to predict.

Bears fans here worry me. The minute i buy into their fervor, they're gonna take a dump. And the Pats/Bengals game today? Yeah, i'm worried, Brady is a fucking cyborg, you just can't get under that guy's skin.

Last week was too close though.

I want consistent blowouts.

last week was in a hostile environment and the bears showed that even when they give the game away, they can still win.

and every week it's like 'i dont know if X team was that bad or the bears were that good.' they given up, what, like two TDs this year and one of those that was on an INTwhich the bears came back on? seattle is a good team, and even having shaun alexander would have made no difference

New England is going to be tough. And it's going to be the third game on the road. Giants, Jets and then the Patriots. We're thinking way too far ahead, though.

Oh, I hate the Bears. Don't get me wrong. I just think they're a very good team with a very easy schedule. They could lose at the Giants, but I like their chances. They'll win at the Jets. Don't think they can win at NE, but who knows?

Seattle needs to get home field advantage---I think they beat the Bears at Quest Field, but have no chance winning at Chicago in January.

In my excitement last night I watched a copy of the Bears-Pats Superbowl XX game that I had recorded on my parent's fancy VCR over 20 years ago.

The Fridge
Dent
Singletary
Payton
Gault
The Punky QB

In a word, it was awesome.

BELIEVE THE MAGIC!

My controller has season tickets and took me and some other coworkers to the game tonight. It was AWESOME. The only thing that would've made it more awesome is if a couple of grizzly bears were let loose on the field at some point.

The Bears are going all the way this year. ALL. THE. WAY!!!!!!
