Ok, so this is fun and someone on the wilco board brought this up and this is where I made mine.

You can make your own avatars with many different options. It's pretty fun. Most people I've seen(including mine) were made to resemble oneself a bit.

I thought some of you might enjoy...

This is pretty darn amazing...

How did/do you save it, though?

I just took a screenshot, pasted it into Photoshop, and cropped it.

How do you remove an item once it's been added?

This took me for-gotdamn-ever. And it's in the FAQ. Just click on it on your character and a little box will pop up where you can rotate, flip or delete it.

Okay, so my character's wearing two pairs of headphones. If I click on the one pair that my character is wearing, it should give me the option to remove them?

Because it's not.

Okay, I just started over. I'm done. I made a screenshot, saved. It's a .jpg on my computer. Now how can I post it on here?

MS Paint works too, if you're on Windows.

I tried last night on my IBook, but definitely no dice on saving it, and I don't think this computer has MS Paint...
If someone would be up for exchanging the 5 min. it would take to make mine (I'd give the instructions) for something, I'd be appreciative. I just don't know what the appropriate trade would be...

If you're on a Mac taking a screenshot is super easy.

Command (apple key) + shift + 3 to take a shot of the entire screen

or

Command (apple key) + shift + 4 you're cursor will become a cross and you can select whatever you want to take a shot of on the screen

Doing both of these automatically saves your picture as a tif on the desktop.
