How does All is Dream compare to Lost Souls?

Loved Lost Souls, never picked up All is Dream

Yeah that is what I meant..same thing applies to both, cos I loved Deserter's Songs and never got All is Dream, loved Lost Souls, never got Last Broadcast...got sucked into more alt.country and monger rock.

Last Broadcast is more accessible. I like it better, but I never really gave Lost Souls much of a shot, except the few MP3s I had downloaded prior to buying it, so I never really developed a full opinion of it.

I had NO IDEA it was this highly regarded. Wow.

It's alright, but it's not real.

My favorite Doves song of them all has to be, "Far from Grace." Gorgeous. Stunning. I could go on, but won't. :D

What is your favorite track?

I haven't listened to them in a while, but I think "The Cedar Room" could have been a fav.

"pounding" owns. and the video is good too, way better than whatever they're tossing out as "black and white town."

Am I the only one who thought this thread was about Dov having an album out that leaked?

No one?

(Never mind.)

Add me to the chorus of support for "Last Broadcast"; Qual to the power of Chad

Anyone ever heard Sub Sub, then dance group that Doves used to be?

Though it's not horrible, I'm glad they became a rock band.

Agree, “Pounding” is my favorite song that they have done. For B-sides it’s either “Far From Grace” or “Your Shadow Lay Across My Life.”

Yes, it has leaked and is on Slsk but the lines are too long. Also found Idlewild, Athlete, Beck, Bloc Party, Daft Punk and Dido.

np: Decemberists – Picaresque
