Talent looks like Dennis The Menace's daddy. Is it me or did he keep repeating himself?

Good point- I think she was mostly in Iraq at that time telling them to shape up.

I heared that Sen. John Warner, (R) Armed Services Chairman may start singing a different tune (changing course) if situation don't improve in about 90 days. So then instead of calling it "cut and run" like the Repubs have been denoucing all these time, they will call it a "necesssary intellegent strategic manuver."

Good friend of mine used to work for C-Mac. It is debatable whether she would automatically be the dumbest Senator upon her entry into the Senate.

Apparently, though, used to be quite the looker 8)

That dumb, Seriously? That's a pretty low bar to limbo under. She seemed like she was handling Talent fairly easily today.

That's because Talent's no great shakes, either.

Claire may not be much of a candidate, but I've voting for her...I'm in full-on "Sweep The Bastards Out" mode.

I was gonna go to a rally for her yesterday cuz Obama was appearing...when we got there & saw the 4 block-long line we bailed.

She used to be State's Attorney over in your part, yeah?

I didn't watch the whole thing, but she looked like she needed media training, like she was struggling to get out the Talking Points at the beginning, ala Pelosi.

Totally disagree. She seemed like a stong, Centrist candidate just like the kind you say Dems need. She was poised, on message, articulate... I'd be interested if you watch the whole thing and still think she sucks.

"I was an auditor... I want to make government accountable" the right message at the right time in the right state. MO is in the Dem column.

I'm not going to completely disagree with this; she definitely lacked some of the polish that the more experienced politicians have, but i'm not sure that it's not to her advantage right now to remain that way. makes her seem all earthy and shit.

He looks more like the nerd vampire in Lost Boys.

suprisingly good. Claire Forlani, for like the seventh time now, did the worst job acting in the movie.

I'm just listening to this now and it's just depressing. Wouldn't it be so refreshing to see someone run (and yues, probably lose) on an athiest ticket? I'm so sick of these candidates trying to outchurch each other.

No, that movie was terrible.

The fucking "blowing bubbles" song and everything. OK, so I only saw the last 30 minutes, but my friends who had watched the whole thing didn't like it either.

Michael Dukakis's 1988 presidential campaign was fairly secular and he did pretty well considering the level of religious fanaticism in the United States.

I was actually going to comment that it ends terrible, but I thought overall the movie was better than I'd expected.

Fairly well?

He lost in one of the biggest landslides in history carrying only 10 states.

His only shining moment was his run in the primaries.
