I am not very knowledgable on the whole graphic novel scene but I'll be damned if this doesn't look freaking awesome.

I was trying to seem like a bigshot by not having to actually look anything up.

That trailer does look pretty cool, though. The cinematography and effects at least.

And I was thinking of 30 Days Of Night.

I just started with whatever my library had in. I usually flip through it while I'm there and take it out if it looks interesting.

Trailer looks awesome. If the movie is as good as the trailer, I'll be happy for Watchmen.

Yeah, why a movie based on this isn't taking its main story line from Gates of Hell, I will never know, but this movie (300) looks TERRIBLE. Overwrought and comic-gimicky, instead of (insert dead horse) relying on an awesome story.

Yeah, I know that, John, I was just saying that I think a movie about Thermopylae would be better, if THIS were the source material.

I know we disagree on this, that's fine.

Also, this will be better than Troy, no doubt.

Did you read that book? Or 300? I haven't read either but we both know that unless it was directed really well, either one would turn out like Troy or worse, like Alexander. I think Zack Snyder will do a decent job but I'm only really basing that on the one movie he's directed thus far, Dawn Of The Dead. I'd rather he do it than Joel Schumacher.

Maybe people outside comics will start realizing how awesome Frank Miller is.

your newfound love of the wire is awesome. now convince crack to start watching it.

and they're also making [url=http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0389722/]30 Days of Night[/utl]

Troy made me want to cry. I've never seen someone fuck up such a great story with such great actors with such zeal for the task.

I'm at the point of trying to bribe my lady into not watching the flavor of love. my soul dies a little every time I even listen to that show. so now she watches it when I'm hung over. It's like my own private penance.
