Are you one of those people who constantly listen and win until the radio station declares you can only win once a year or every three to four months?

You just seem to win tickets more frequently than others, or maybe I am lumping all the winnings together under your name.

Why can't you go? That seems like a perfect show that you could take the wife to, maybe some dinner, leave the kids with a babysitter, etc...

We've had a short roadtrip scheduled for that night for a little while now.
My family, my parents, and my sister and her family.... celebrating my dad's 60th birthday.

I registered before the trip was scheduled and forgot that I had done it.

Hopefully, I'll get to exchange them for the Lindsey Buckingham show. I doubt they'll let me do it for the Bob Dylan show coming up, but I can check that too.

If no, I'll just try to give the tix to a friend.
If not that, I'll sell 'em.

If you're lacking in friends to give them to, can you give them to my little brothers who still have my copy of kiko?

They're boring. Would be good for them.

Todd, I was just invited by my sugar daddy to the Lindsey Buckingham show at Park West. Will I be bored? Is he going to play Mac songs or his own stuff?

And don't sell the Cubby Bear tickets. You didn't pay for them, neither should someone else.

yeah, that's bad concert karma, you'll never get into a show for free ever again if you make someone pay for it.

I wasn't planning on selling them; I'm not that kinda guy. Too damn honest, I guess.

If I can't exchange them, and they are transferable, I'm gonna give them to a friend I work with. (The one I loaned the Social D CD to). He even offered to pay, but I wouldn't take it.

It's a little known fact, but Los Lobos are the best band in America. Someone should post a thread about it.

I believe that's a dig, if I'm not mistaken.

Wouldn't it be worth it just to hear "Holiday Road"?

no.

I'm not going. My dad forced me to go to a Fleetwood Mac concert when I was 15. That was enough to last me a lifetime.

Sorry, Jazz.

I do not know what he will play, but you will NOT be bored.
The solo stuff I've hear is good, but...
The man is an astonishing musician and, even if you do not play guitar, you will not believe the way that he does -- all fingerpicking, a cross between flamenco and classical technique... but playing pop/rock songs. Sometimes he sounds like 3 seperate guitar players at once.

Plus... even though I cannot say for sure, I'm sure that he will at least touch on some Fleetwood Mac stuff. It's what most people come to hear.

I think she's trying to avoid The Mac.

I am. Plus, the inviter surfaces like twice a year to profess his undying love to me and then blows me off each time. He bought me a fancy lunch once, therefore he's earned the title of "sugar daddy", but he hasn't done anything nearly that cool in two years. Bitch.

I'd rather see Los Lobos anyway.
