Was Locke's stint on "Junior's Farm" chronologically before or after the whole Peg Bundy engagement/Kevin Tighe kidney-napping chapter of his backstory? It was real nice to see Chris Mulkey again! Hadn't seen that mofo since he was washing dishes at Peggy Lipton's diner on Twin Peaks in between terrorizing Leo Johnson.

Kind of missed not getting any scenes from the Jack-quarium, but it looks like there's some full-blown GITMO shit in store for Sawyer next week. The only thing missing from those previews was Lynndie England with a strap-on.

Also, Boone needs a haircut. And nobody in the history of acting has been capable of doing more with the word "dude" than Hurley. He's a genius when it's comes to monosyllabic utterances, as evidenced by the introduction of his latest masterpiece last night: "Bear?"

I agree that it was afterwards. He did reference his father when questioned about him as "there's not much to talk about." He also talked about being thankful for his new family he had found and how his old one sucked when he led the prayer at the meal.

Some of the repliers bring up some good points. Such as how nobody seemed to really wonder why Hurley returned alone. All the people on the beach knew was that the five of them were going out to get Walt. Hurley comes back alone and nobody asks him where everyone else is until Eko shows up hurt. Then they ask for Jack. Or did they not know they had gone out at all? Nikki seemed to assume Jack was off in the Hatch or something.

And Locke and Charlie didn't ask about Michael. He wasn't mentioned at all. "They took Jack, Kate and Sawyer." This is where Charlie or Locke should've chimed in with "And Michael?" "Oh, they gave him a boat and he and Walt left." That should be something of huge importance. I know it will be to Sayid if Hurley actually remembers to tell him.


And I too hated how they introduced Nikki and Paolo. All of a sudden they're just there, conversing with everyone else like they're tight with the rest of the A-listers. Locke even calls them by name and tells them to go get bandages. If they want us to believe they've been on the island, hanging out in the background the past two months, fine. That's believable. We've seen other people running around. But don't expect us to believe that they're tight and buddy-buddy with Locke and Charlie and them when they've never been shown saying two words to them. In fact, Nikki and Paolo have never even had their names mentioned.

Not to mention one of the two of them asks about Sayid, Jin, and Sun like they knew that those three were trying to serve as backup for hurley, kate, sawyer, michael, and jack.

And still no sign of Frogurt.

Ben wanted The Elizabeth because, without it, Locke/Sayid/etc. have no way in hell of getting to Jack/Kate/Sawyer.
