He's only done 10-12 albums I think.

I'm not a huge fan but I'll give him props for the stark difference in sound he helped Radiohead find from The Bends all the way to Hail to the Thief. Whether you like the direction they went or not, those are two very different sounding albums.

But, if I had to pick one:

Beck - Sea Change

Can I see a complete list of his work please?

Off the top of my head though, I'd go with Ok Computer, The Bends, Travis' The Man Who, and Sea Change

Yeah, I was just reading that actually but thanks.... This sounds kinda interesting BTW:

Quote:
In September 2006 it was announced that Godrich was shooting 'From the Basement', a new series for British television. According to Rolling Stone magazine, it will focus on live performances by musicians, with the first episode featuring The White Stripes, Thom Yorke and Four Tet. The second, currently in production, will feature Beck and Jamie Lidell. The show will have no studio audience, but some as-yet-unspecified visual accompaniment. According to Godrich, it will be available as a video podcast in the coming weeks.

I only heard a couple of songs, but I liked all of them.
I forgot about this one.
It seemed to be a definite return to form for Macca.

Hell no! I loved it. I'm one of the few that loves these old guys turning out new music that actually sounds fresh.

he's been showing up in odd places (Air, Mccartney) and has some stellar albums to revisit (Travis, Terror Twilight). I don't know, his name is synomonous with Yorke but I've noticed his ability to focus whoever he works with in capturing their full potential.

a quick five

1.Radiohead - Kid A
2.Beck - Mutations
3.Paul Mccartney - Chaos
4. Radiohead - Amnesiac
5. Air - Talkie Walkie
