Is/was pretty decent. I laughed many times.

Alec Baldwin hosted. Guest spots from Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan, Steve Martin, Martin Short, Paul McCartney, and Tony Bennett. Duet with Tony and Christina Aguliera to finish off the show.

yeah, i was just commenting about how sweeps month even brings out some funny sketches. i think the key to tonight's episode was that no sketch was overdone. they were mostly all short - ending way before getting stale.

Without exaggeration, that was the funniest SNL episode since Myers, Hartman and Carvey were still in the cast.

"Bobby McFerrin raped my Grandmother."

Smigel's Kobayashi cartoon was also genius.

Yep. Good episode last night. I'm glad people finally watched!

Christina Aguilera made me not hate her anymore by keeping her clothes on. Good girl.

She still does that whoooaaa-oooh-ooh-oohoohohoh thing that annoys the fuck out of me. But her duet with Bennett made me have to admit that she can sing. Sometimes.

Oh yeah, the voice is irritating, but at least she's really singing.

Did you watch Best Week Ever this week? Lots of funnyfunny poked at Britney & K-Fed.

I don't know what that is.

Did you watch any comedy show this week? Lots of skewering of Spears and Fed.

It's on VH1.

I only watched SNL and BWE this week. I don't watch late night talk shows.

Well, VH1, la ti da.

Actually, I don't believe we get that up here. Or I'd probably need digital cable to get it.

So I guess I'm required to watch some clips online then? Oh sigh. If I must.
