You guys crack me up.

There are very few words that annoy me. I could care less what people say(except for Bling, yes that one has GOT to go). I'm just happy when people speak and it comes out somewhat intelligible(unlike most of my supermarket's checkout teenagers who can't seem to communicate worth a hill of beans)

And I'm guilty of saying many of those listed at some time or another.

As for you dorks and your freaky fear of the word "panties" I have Only this to say to you: PANTIES PANTIES PANTIES PANTIES PANTIES PANTIES PANTIES PANTIES PANTIES

Good jesus.

oh haha. YOu know what I meant. :bitchslap:

Meaning I'm not weird about particular "words". Now if you're going to insult me, then yeah I do.

I don't like this "Friends"-style use of the word "so".

Example: "I'm so going to the store after work".

Is that Friends? Rats, I'm going to get totally turned off from this now.

It does sound like a reverse-psychologizing contrarian, dunnit? I am so going to the store after work. Are not.

STANK, STANKIN', and any other forms of this grating word. Just typing it pisses me off.

Unfuckwithable. I know this word is (was) big around here, but if I see it one more time I might explode.

Edit: I just saw Unfuckwithable was mentioned 600 times right above this. That's what I get for not reading the thread.

i used to date a guy for whom the words "rad" "jawsome" and "brah" were far too much a part of his vernacular for me to consider continuing to date him.

It's not so much "words" that bother me as much as phrases. I can't stand it when I hear things like "taking it to the next level." And when I hear the lyric "spread my wings and fly" or something to that effect, it kills the song. I don't care how strong the hook is. I hate hate hate that phrase.

Senator LooGAR's #9 Dream-

I can't say I've never used the word "lush" in a music review. Please don't kill me.

*edit*
What a nifty post count I have right now.

Sorry for the bump, but I heard this the other day and I have to say that I hate it with the heat of the fire of hell:

Scooch.

As in--

"Do you want to sit down? I can scooch down for you."

Agreed.

And I suppose it would be appropriate now for me to add "ironical" and "addicting" in here now (if they're not already in the thread).

With apologies....

Scooch originated as an acronym. It's a testimony to a youth wasted on construction sites that I know this, but a "scooch" was an informal term of measurement meant to imply the tiniest distance possible, which in a laborers mind was a "short, curly, cunt hair". SCCH. A scooch. Naturally it had to be specified as female pubic hair because their's is perceived as being finer than that of the male.

Geez. That's interesting and horrifying. However, when upperclass white southerners use it, I don't care about its origins. It's like nails on the chalkboard.

The question, now, is -- how many scooch (scooches?) make a proper merkin?

Panties: hate the word, I never know what the hell to call those damn things. though I did just come up with a Chick drink called "panties on the ceiling fan"

Hypnotiq and a Tab Energy drink.

I hate hipster slang...like dek, or clutch.

Unders. That's what I call them. "Panties" is ridiculous.

I don't get annoyed by this, but "fester" is one of the most disgusting words I've ever heard.
