Fair enough. My career in cat-themed Photoshop humor appears to have ended, though I wasn't really planning on working exclusively in that medium, either way.

I guess my downfall can be directly traced to my reluctance to work in the HARBL genre...

Yeah, it's like when Radcliffe said none of the pics were funny and then wrote two captions that were less funny than all of them. It's tough to gain credibility in a genre you have sought to discredit.

I felt that the whole "addin' yer billz" incident really helped illuminate the issues inherent in the field for me. I realized my strengths as well as my failings. I now feel much more "at home" working within the "ORLY Owl" idiom.
