I'm working the Music as a Weapon tour show featuring Disturbed, Stone Sour, Flyleaf and Nonpoint and a ton of people got really fucked during the last set by Stone Sour.
I've been to some pretty rough shows and never got more than a bruise, and I am a rather small guy.
Has anyone here got hurt at a show that required first aid assistance?

I was at Fionna Apple's 'meltdown' show at Roseland in NYC a few years back. She played 3 songs before leaving the stage.

That really hurt my feelings cause I was really excited to see the show.

on a side note, i was able ot turn in my tix for 2nd row at her 'make up' show at the Beacon a few months later.

i didn't require first aid assistance, but i do have a terrific scar on my neck from a cut taken in the pit at warped tour '95. someone was like, "hey, you're bleeding pretty bad." in hindsight, i probably should've gone to the first aid tent, but i just washed it and went back outside.

Aside from bonks on the head and assorted bruises...no, first aid, ambulances or hospitalization required.

Just went to a local radio concert (Taking Back Sunday, 30 Seconds to Mars, Kill Hannah, Black Tie Dynasty) and some girl fell into the pit and got kicked unconcious. I had to carry her out of there and the kids wouldn't give us the space to leave.

So cute.

I've nearly passed out at a show for no apparent reason, that's about it.

Never been hurt myself, but will always remember being at a show way back when (I think it was UK Subs, but not really sure). Guy got up on stage to jump off and for some reason the crowd just parted while he was in the air and he came down face first on the concrete floor. No medical or anything like that, but a couple guys I assume were his buddies scraped him up and carried him out. Left a nice sized blood splatter. Saw multiple knifings at the same venue back then too. Place eventually got shut down when the cops found a couple bodies in the basement. Ah...the good old days...

I got kicked in the face at a Social Distortion show. Bruised ribs at a Smashing Pumpkins show. Can't think of anything else. Neither incident was anything major.

At radio station sponsored festival in 1995, my friend Vikkii got hit in the eye with a Jack Daniels bottle (one of the smaller, maybe pint sized bottles). Cut her eye open and almost got her eyeball.

If this was a contest, harry would be the winner.

Jesus harry. Was the show in Compton?

Never been hurt other than the normal bumps and bruises from being sloppy drunk.

Did witness at guy throw an empty pint bottle of the upper deck of the old Omni in Atlanta during Metallica's black album tour. Never saw it land but somebody had to have been damn near killed.

Pretty sure the guy got arrested.

i've heard conflicting stories about a slayer show outside philadelphia in early 90s when the removable floor seats were torn up and thrown onstage. interestingly, i never heard anything about injuries - only that slayer had been banned from the venue after then.

some dickweed lost his finger in the fencing
and the show was shut down for about half hour

i've never gotten seriously hurt, but i've gotten pinned against a ceiling, punched in the head and blacked out for a matter of minutes, my head slammed into a cabinet, and dropped on the floor and had a bruise the size of texas but the shape of an oblong egg for about a week. it was as colorful as a rainbow.

RATM and Wu-Tang at Blossom outside of Cleveland, pit was a little nutty. I didn't get hurt but bad, but a frat boy who was swinging elbows in a not nice way went down, and oops, his brand new day old tribal tattoo on his bicep get shredded the fuck up. Maybe it was a celtic knot, but after that, who could tell?

Kicked in the head with a steel-toe army boot during Beck "MellowGold" tour. It wasn't too bad.

It was quite a scene: the show was all-ages, so every 5 mins you'd see balling 12-year-olds being pulled out over the front barrier by the bouncers.
