I just heard him interviewed on the radio on my way to work this morning and was very surprised by what I heard.

Just from the 5 minutes or so, sounds like the kid has his head on straight and has a pretty good outlook on the whole fame thing, and life in general. Self-depreciating, even.

Yeah, he's a prettyboy pop superstar who has made a pretty good pop record (apparently, since I haven't heard the thing), but he also soundslike a decent human being. Even if he was with Britney Spears for a while.

I finally heard the sexy back song at the record store. It's okay but throughout the song is him randomly saying "Yeah!" which was pretty funny. It reminded me of Sonic Youth's 'Kool Thing' or something.

yeah, i think he's all right. i've read interviews with him where he seems level-headed. just because someone's in a boy band doesn't make them a jerk by default either.

I thought about becoming self-depreciating, but I chose to expense it all the first year instead.
