Aww, I was, like, 12 when those songs came out. I've got a huge nostalgic hard on for everything released then, even the ones I hated at the time.

That Midlake - Van Occupanther record seems like it wasn't far removed from something America would do. Of course, I say that knowing a grand total of 3 America songs.

I've always had a soft spot for "Horse With No Name".

I always thought "Horse With No Name" was Neil Young's worst song, and that "Ventura Highway" was the Eagles' best song.

I get old French-Canadian ladies calling the station asking for "Birds An TREEZ An Rocks An TINGS" and for dat 'Ven-Choo-Ris Eye-WAY."
