The Bon Savants and Peter Adams.

I still need to pick up that Bon Savants disc. When did KPH leave the band? How did I miss that little bit of info?

Peter Adams is the guy from Cincinnati that I have been hyping. He is that good people.

I think he played his last show with them at the end of the summer. Then for a bit they had fill-ins, but now they have a new permanent guitarist, who also is bearded. Coincidence?

Very much so, from my understanding (I don't live in Boston anymore). Kevin just needed the time for other things. Kevin and Thom are like best friends.

the Bon Savants article was more about KPH than the rest of the band.

I decided a while back that reading Cat Power press only makes me dislike her so I gave up on it. It's a lot easier to take in her albums that way.

I've read through this issue.

There's also an extensive Kevin Shields article where he talks about how there will be another MBV album someday, and that Loveless didn't nearly bankrupt Creation, and that Alan McGee is a liar, and....eh, who gives a shit anymore...
