Smithereens have recorded all of Meet The Beatles as their reunion album. I'll have to get it. Loved their first three albums, next two not so much.

Sounds like it might be good, and I'm glad they recorded Meet the Beatles and not With the Beatles.

One of the best live bands I've ever seen. Liked 'em ok on record. But, saw 'em put on a great show on the Especially for You tour.

I have a Smithereens album or two. Now with all this talk I'll have to pull one of them out. I'd love to hear this new one though.

I'm a big fan, but what I've heard of this album hasn't really lit my fire. The versions are pretty faithful, & it's a pleasant enough listen, but that's about it.

There should be a link to a thingy where you can hear a couple tunes on www.patdinizio.com .

The second album was so depressing. The only song missing was "I Want My Records Back."

However, this Beatles thing intrigues me.

The guys who did "Live & Let Die" and "Got My Mind Set On You." Oh and I think they had a shoe commercial.
