just got the 1st season of 24, never seen the show before so I'll be watching that.

possibly either the rapture or the features tomorrow night.

Yow! Saw the Features last weekend and highly recommend seeing them. The new songs are great and they rocked super-extra-much.

Can't imagine the Rapture could even come close to the amount of rock.

Get warm. Sleep.

Tomorrow: sleep in on a Saturday (!), make a cake, best friend's baby shower, night with HePoet
Sunday: work and stuff

Went to a kiddie birtday this evening, adult cooler included(phew!).

Sat: Teach the kid a little tennis tomorrow afternoon(this'll be funny and last like 20 mins max), but I may get time to spar with the wife, who makes me run around alot. Then, dinner with folks and family.

Sun: Lay low.

Prep for next weekend's sailfishing in the Keys.

Man! Stabbings and beatings are ten a penny round here but last night it got out of control and there was a freakin' gun battle at 4am in the morning.

I counted 6 shots but I was too scared to look out the window. I don't think anyone got shot because I don't see any police or blue tape this morning (although I have a restricted view) but still it makes you feel a little uneasy!

I suppose it gives me something to sleuth about this weekend.

Yesterday - day out for SOs b-day. Museum, food, wine, ice skating on the mall (dc). Today - brunch. Weird convo. Going to avoid for a few days, hope it fades. Work, some chores. Tomorrow: prep for lame monday meeting, chores, sleep. Get serial number for new back door. Do taxes if w-2 showed up today (haven't checked yet).

Yeah, you don't want to overextend yourself, Timmy. I'll fetch you a glass of lemonade.

it's too cold to do anything outside of my house.

I'm staring at piles of books, cds, and clothes. I say that I'm going to clean/organize my shit, but I'll probably just sit online and listen to music all night. Maybe I'll get a bottle of wine and get drunk by myself.

Yesterday- Feeling shitty. Lunch with an old friend who had drifted off for a while, then decided she wanted to hang out with me again. Coffee shop, read, etc. Invited to have a beer with the ex-whatever-the-hell-he-was and didn't want to, but didn't want to be a bitch either. Went, realized hanging out isn't the best idea yet. Went home, tried to sleep. No sleep for hours!

Today- Work. Busy. Still feeling shitty. By the end of the day, it's worse too. Eat a cookie to avoid passing out, but then want to puke. Walk home, get in bed, sleep for 3 hours. Up now doing this before going back to bed.

Tomorrow- Work. At 7am. Hope I don't feel even worse. But this is looking like it's not going away anytime soon. (I know what you may be thinking... "you're sick and you're going to work in a restaurant??" Nope, it's nothing contageous... It's all in my head, literally... first (and cheapest) step is to see the eye doctor to make sure my prescription in my right eye hasn't suddenly changed drastically. If that's not it, well, shit.)

Hope everyone else is having a fun weekend!!

Went to the dealership last night, and we might MIGHT have just pulled this off. Won't know for sure until Monday afternoon/evening. If so, I'll be rollin' to SXSW in one of these...

Last night I had dinner with 2 of the kids from my old neighborhood that I grew up with. It looks like everyone I know from there has become a cop. Then I got hobo drunk.

This vehicle is a disaster, Bobbo. It looks like something they would give away at the end of Tic Tac Dough.

(I just have a soft spot for the mongering van because both femgar and I fit in the back, and that DVD player is pretty sweet. Good on ya, FT!)

Press Your Luck, actually, but point taken. I'll check the title to see if the names of Mark Goodson and Bill Todman are anywhere to be found.

Yeah, I fit rather snugly in the FRONT, so I'm guessing you and FEMGAR will have to ride on the luggage rack.

Oh, and ironically enough, <>D, it looks like SHEFRAC will end up with a GAR-approved Pacifica.

One of the worst things about American cars is the almost complete lack of legroom in the front seat. (I haven't ridden in the back seat of a car in some time)

I've told Obner's favorite midget, jagged, on multiple occasions that I would trade places with him any time. Everyone thinks being tall is so great, but I'd absolutely rather be 5'6" than 6'5" -- not only would it be easier to drive any vehicle I wanted, but I could also buy clothes at places like Old Navy, rather than being forced to overpay for substandard converted tenting at Thornton Melon's.

Yeah, but then you'd be a l'il nigga ;)

It has its advantages and disadvantages. One thing I have learned is that in my line of work, it is very important for people to remember you, and EVERYONE remembers me, if only because I am 7 times their size. Its one of those things that makes you who you are, and if you are OK with that, it don't matter. (Now ends my Stuart Smalley routine, you lumbering oaf)

Was the show any good? Was the baby there?

I was already at the club! Besides, I thought you were going to someone's birthday party beforehand.

No, no baby, no J. Robbins either.
