it's very rad. some people can't get their heads around the new one due to it's more experimental and less obvious sound. i say fuck that, the new tunes are just killer. can't wait to hear them live again.

i just think the oversaturation on some tracks, like the opener, is too distorted to fully-enjoy. otherwise, i think it's a fine follow-up to their debut and my current #3.

First listen, I had to turn it off after track four. Next couple, I'm really liking this. Pretty much exactly the same reaction I had to their first one. "This is terrible!" and then I grew to love it.

A little bit when I first heard it, but it didn't have much staying power.

So who's seen this band live? Cuz I just found out tickets for a STL show go on sale this Friday.

I'm gonna go regardless, but I'd like to know what I'm in for.

First listen? My first time through I turned it off way before that. It's probably not gonna grow on everyone, but I'd give it another shot or two.

I was expecting to be really disappointed with this based on all of your tepid reviews, but I guess I don't get what people are talking about. It's a lot like the first album--I would generally expect people who liked that to like this. But apparently it's dividing fans and making fans of naysayers. Weird.
