So my wife picked up the new Apples In Stereo for me for Valentine's Day. I hadn't gotten to it yet, until this evening. Open it up and there is a voucher for free downloads from Yep Roc, I'm thinking its just a stray AiS live track or bside. I'm right...sorta. Yes, there is the usual 1 track from various Yep Roc artists, but I'm also allowed to dl the entire You Am I album, "Convicts". Thats pretty cool. More labels need to offer up albums to people who plunk down money for albums. Maybe a stray back-catalog album or something.

Damn, that is a bargain.

Interesting way for them to market the You Am I album, but I guess if it means more people hear it (and hopefully buy it), then it'll be good for everyone
