The eerie thing about this is that if you google the thing you can go check out a Video review on Cnet of the device by none other than the late James Kim, the guy died trying to walk to get help when his family's vehicle got stuck in the snow in Oregon over the winter :(

For that much money, they could at least throw in a wheelbarrow to haul the damned thing around in.

in a remotely related story, a friend & i toured all 48 states in 2002. one extended stop was DC where we parked near the main bus terminal along Indi mall. i had my canon g 4(?) with and started taking pictures almost immediately on our journey for the day even though they were just boring govt buildings.

at the end of the day, after walking to the clear opposite end of the mall, we headed back. when we arrived at the general vicinity of our rental car, WE COULDN'T FIND IT! Like dumbasses, we forgot to note the intersection we parked on. We looked for nearly an hour and the day was just starting to grow dark when i pulled out the canon. A bit less than 30 min later we found it thanks to scrolling back to the beginning of the pix to retrace our steps, identifying buildings, signs, etc. We woulda been slightly farked otherwise...
