Anyone watch this after Heroes?

I thought it was a pretty damn good pilot.

I enjoyed it a lot too :) (The pilot has been available online for some time now.) It wasn't perfect but seemed like it could be the start of something good :)

It was kind of slow in the middle but it finished strong. First episode so it's hard to say but it has potential.

I was actually hoping because Haggis was involved, and considering where he's from, that it might actually have to do with the real Black Donnellys.

jesus christ was that ridden with cliches. and plot holes so large you could drive a child-crippling camaro through.

I grew up on the mean streets, of Hell's Kitchen. Where we learned how to talk with our fists. Us Black Irish do like to drink and fight, but at the end of the day, you love your 5 brothers. and we hate Italians.

It had several redeeming qualities, but the way they sold it I expected a LOT more. and someone please tell me if casting directors even work anymore of if they just go to HBO. Because I counted no less than 4 characters that were lifted directly from HBO series.

I just watched it and really liked it.

Then again I'm fascinated by this stuff, my ma's family was supposedly tied rather heavily to the Irish mafia in Chicago years back. So hey, I could care less if cliches abounded, it was still pretty damn good.

Sure as hell beats Studio Boring on The Sunset Strip.

Since this show is what bumped Studio 60 off the air, I wanted the Moon. I got Des Moines. I hate shows where I could give 2 shits about the protagonist(s).

Very cliché and the mic's are completely unbelievable as bad dudes. I also hate that actor that's playing the hit man for the wop's. It's like a rich catholic high school is putting on a play about the mean streets and these actors fit the role "best". Even the bosses didn't look the part.

This is NBC people... can't you find some Goodfellas looking motherfuckers out there?

So what's the over/under on how many episodes before they write Chuck Norris in?

am I the only one that enjoyed Studio 60? at least before the network put twelve romantic subplots in it?
