I'm sure some band called Fiction Plane would have been chosen as the opening act for the Police, even if Sting's son wasn't a member.

Not that anyone going to the shows will be there for the opener, but you'd think for the Police they could have gotten an act worth seeing.

Well, when they can sell out arenas at every tour stop I guess they didn't need to negotiate with anyone about opening acts.

I'll bet they still get some bigger openers at some point.

I don't think this is as bad as Eddie Van Halen bringing his 15 year old son, Wolfie, in to play Bass instead of Michael Anthony for the upcoming "Reunion" tour.

Or naming your son Wolfie.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Michael Anthony wants to have anything to do with the Van Halens, which is understandable. EVH is a prick.

Technically, it's Wolfgang, but either way (Wolfgang or his nickname "Wolfie"), I agree it's pretty stupid.

I know. Anthony has been playing with Hagar for years now. I don't blame him after being shit on by Eddie. Seems like Anthony is much happier anyway.

I just don't think people give a shit about seeing ol Wolfie. It's like Paris Hilton being the spokesperson for Hilton Hotels. Wow, that must've been a tough gig to get?

MA has always maintained that he was ready and willing, but he never got the call from EVH. He said, that he wasn't gonna just sit home and wait, so he is playing out with Sammy.

Yeah, the reunion is off as of now.....The HOF ceremony doesn't look like anyone will attend either.

I think you're right about Wolfie. But he is a Van Halen, I guess.

How much you wanna bet that Wolfgang isn't that great and it's just Eddie being a proud parent?
