Perhaps I've caught myself in a terrible cycle of watching it, willing it out of my mind, and then subjecting myself to it all over again.

I respect what many of the actors were trying to pulll off (Matt Dillon was great), but the script and direction were as heavy-handed and shrill as could be imaginable.

Might like it more if I lived in a big city suburb, but the "race taints everything" text was not well-done.

It was like the elephant in the Room of Storytelling.

I kept waiting for MAD TV actors to leap into frame and start screeching parody lines in Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee voices.

I liked it but sold my dvd with the intention of buying the 2 disc version but I really haven't been in any rush to pick it up.

I loved Babel.

I thought Babel was alright. The deaf asian girl storyline was probably the most interesting in it.
