It is an up and coming school. The general college for the city of atlanta. I am currently procrastinating the submission of my law school application to this school.

Yayuh! What I have heard of TI is pretty tight. That is pretty awesome that they are having gigs at GA State again. In the early nineties, they had Primus/Fishbone one year and then Beastie Boys/Rollins Band/Da Lench Mobb the next. Both were hella fun and pretty well run especially considering how small the venue is. Tiny.

Chase, Georgia State is a public school, a part of the University System of Georgia and has very respectable Law and Business programs. It is indicative of your typical urban university, very much a commuter school, though they do provide some student housing.

plus, GSU had (don't know if it's still true) one of the better college stations in town... 88.5 Album 88

Of course, I thought WREK 91.1 ruled, and we were by far more interesting! ;)

Many, many moons ago, during the Pleistocene Era, WREK was the finest radio station I had ever heard. They had a regular segment called "Music You Have Never Heard"- aptly titled. Hadn't thought about that in a looong time.

I used to work there, so I gotta support WREK. Met some great folks there and had wonderful opportunities to hear and play stuff most radio stations wouldn't touch. WREK during the early 90s prided itself on being eclectic. One of the biggest compliments I ever heard was when both Jack Nicholson and Dennis Hopper visited the station (I wasn't there) and told the MD and PD that WREK was the only station they listened to while in Atlanta.

88.5 and 91.1 are alright but I believe Derris worked for the penultimate 90.5 WUOG Athens. I wonder if Law School Students can get on the whole radio thing?

Still haven't taken the LSAT, that's how much I procrastinate. And I got a rec from the former Senate Majority Leader of this fair state and a fucking sitting District Attorney.

<----------So GAR, I make myself wanna cry.

As for TI, I don't really like rap shows. It's usually a bunch of semi-out of breath dudes screaming over a shitty PA, and dudes trying to mean mug in the audience.
