yeah no shit. That's about the most un-informed thing I've read in recent memory. All we have in WI is cheese and beer... we know what the fuck we're doing with both.

Any IPA fans?
I, for one, find them a bit too bitter/hoppy in general. Seems odd, for a self-proclaimed "beer guy", but that's just me I guess.

You know who makes a good IPA is Red Hook's Long Hammer. Not as bitter/hoppy as some. A little sweeter, I think.

I'm a huge fan of Red Hook's ESB, too.

I too love Fat Tire, but to tell you the truth, I've yet to find at a store. It could just be that I'm not looking hard enough.

yeah, the site only lists NORTHERN California, which I guess will result in me driving to NV for beer every once in awhile.

BevMo sells it. I know i've seen it on tap places but couldn't tell you where. I don't think i've ever had it.

I'm sorry Monty. I should have never posted it. I forgot that most yuppie hipsters are fascists when it comes to beer. It is my favorite, but I like a lot of others, too.

Yuppie? Negative.

Hipster? Negative.

How you say it, then, I don't know. It's not me...

You, though -- how are you not a yuppie hipster?

Sweetwater 420... miss that shit and can't get it here. Same thing with New Glarus Wisconsin Belgian Red.

Right now in the fridge:
Full Sail Session Lager
some cheap pilsener from Trader Joe's (which is actually fairly tasty)

also like:

Widmer Drop Top Amber
Widmer Broken Halo IPA
Fuller's ESB
Liefman's Framboise and Kriek beer

on really super hot days, you will find me drinking PBRs. And as a nice beer alternative, I love me some Strongbow Cider. I think Strongbow has overtaken Dry Blackthorn as my favorite cider.

Y'all need to come out and go to Moon and Sixpence with me.... KILLER beer selection and amazing outdoor patio. And curry fries!

Oh man. I almost want to make the trip just for the Curry Fries. Sweet mother of moses...

Man, nickisnotdead, I've had enough of you imitating me. While members of my family seem obsessed with Bud, I would never touch the stuff (I suppose it would help that I went back to rarely drinking a few years ago, though I'm not straight edge, ala 20-year-old, but then again, I'm not like 20-year-old me at all).

Anyways, if you're going to live in Milwaukee, you drink Milwaukee beer.

For the sake of all that is holy and good, you two need to get your boy-on-boy romance back on track. Go for a drink, talk it over, rekindle the flame. It'll be better for all of us.

Well, being both a native southerner AND a converted wisconsinite, I never stood a chance. If I ever get that way about New England shoot me.

Yeah Miller products (delicious, golden High Life aside) are crap, but the local stuff (New Glarus, Capitol, and holyfuckingshit Lake Louie) is genuinely wonderful.

Faggots? Does your first-ever girlfriend -- that notorious fag-hag Kathy wit' a K -- know you talk like that? What would her overly complimentary gay-bar friends think, knowing that their non-sexual girl-crush were friends with a man with such a flippant disregard for homosexuality?

nickisnotdead is not nor was he who you thought he was. I was going to register as Norman Dukes, but I thought you would appreciate the subtle history with this name.
