McNabb gets a bad rap. He'll end up in Chicago next year, and the Bears will return to the playoffs while the Eagles sink further into the depths of the NFC cellar.

feely almost beat the pats. if donovan played that game, the good guys would have won by 17 at least.

and a lot more than the quarterback position is broken in chicago. if they are a playoff team next year it will be because the nfc is barely a professional conference.

if you take away the McMahon games (or however you spell his name) the Eagles have a better record without McNabb than with since the superbowl.

I love McNabb, but i think he's no longer a good fit here.

I don't know, man. Last week created the perfect storm.

A mediocre performance from most of the Pats against the horrible NYJ, the dolphins have a history of being the only loss to a strong Patriots season, the Pats completely obliterated them earlier this year creating some miffed pride, and the Dolphins will be feeling unstoppable coming off their recent win. It could be the end for the Pats. :)

i can't wait to see how quickly the fins get their will broken. you have to assume they will be confident coming in off the win in a nothing to lose game. how fast are they going to be blasted back into reality? i say on the second play from scrimmage regardless of who has the ball.

the eagles do not have the heart of a champion my friend

they gave away so many games this year, i certainly can't disagree.

also, if you don't mind some constructive criticism, i think they should have dumped donovan last year.

I think teams would've been too suspicious of his injury if they tried to trade him last year. Also, Donovan is one of the greatest quarterbacks of his era, right behind the top tier of Brady and Manning. The one year the Eagles got him a great receiver they went to the Super Bowl, and came damn close to winning it. Hell, McNabb almost led the Eagles to the Super Bowl in 2003, when his 3 best receivers were James Thrash, Todd Pinkston, and Freddie Mitchell. People need to get off McNabb's jock. I don't have a problem with the Eagles trading him if they really think that's in their best interests. However, I'd much rather see him stay.

donovan is one of the greatest quarterbacks of his era? thanks for making me spit coffee all over my damn keyboard, jerk! first of all, bringing an nfc team to the superbowl doesn't impress me. secondly, the receiver you are talking about is probably going to the superbowl this year and was a play away last year, speaking more to his ability to get there than the qb's. besides, look at manning this year still getting it done without harrison and brady has never had the same receiving corps twice. and last, but certainly not least in the least...

'great' quarterbacks put together some kind of drive on the final possession of the damn superbowl. i'm not saying they punch it in every time, but they put something together. donovan vomits in the huddle in that situation. see the difference?

i could make a long list of mcnabb-era qbs who are better than donovan, but you are aware that you just put him ahead of the all time passing leader, no?

I don't remember all the details of the game, but the Eagles were down by 2 scores, and McNabb DID drive them down the field to score a TD. People picked on him because he didn't run the 2 minute drill as quickly as he should've, but he did score once. The Eagles even got the ball back but didn't have much time left, had to force some plays, and I think McNabb had an INT at the very end. I think McNabb is a great quarterback when healthy.

Also, in regards to the Favre comment. He sucked most of the 2000s.

Lastly, you can trash talk the NFC all you want, but the NFC East has been a harder place to play than the Pats division practically every year in the last 25.

I don't think it's a huge stretch to call McNabb one of the best of his era no matter how you slice it. Name three consistently better that are not named Brady or Payton Manning?

Eli constantly looks like he just found out girls fart at the same time he was sucking on a lemon. I can't stand him or his brother.

As a Falcons fan I say, FUCK YOU. From the bottom of my heart.

It's typical Falcons to have a season like we're having the year that another team has ONE OF THE WORST SEASONS EVER.

Oh hey Falcons, you won 3 games, guess what? You still don't get the #1 pick.

I'm pulling for ya'll the win out because you at least have a 1 game win streak going.

Most years a number one pick isn't that different from number two in football, and it's often a better deal financially.

Depends on what you're looking for and if you need a QB or a RB.

If you got 2 teams looking for a RB and only one Darren McFadden then being at #2 is a LOT different than being at #1.

Don't worry, Ben. Dorsey's going #1. If you guys are at #2, McFadden will be there for the taking.

I want Jason Taylor emulate Lawrence Taylor & make Brady into Theismann.

I also want Wes Welker, White Speed Receiver to spontaneous combust.

Last, I want Larry Izzo to be chopped into cutlets by Ray Lewis, then barbecued, then eaten by Warren Sapp.

I'm confused. So the Dolphins and Falcons are going to be #1 and #2 respectively. What I don't understand is why the Dolphins need a RB. They just drafted Ronnie Brown, what, like #3 overall in '05? I would be surprised if they drafted another RB that high again so soon.
