also, i'll probably put up a blog that features individual links to each tune, with the poster/description-story right under it for those that just wish to download individual tunes.

If there is an open hole to be filled (stop it OPA!), then I'll be happy to fill it (I said STOP it, OPA!). I don't think the song I'd choose would be something that a lot of people have NOT heard, but it is significant to me. :) PM if a a gaping hole opens up because I doubt I will come back in this thread. haha

Took me some thinking, but I wound up picking the song that had the best (or at least most-nostalgic) backstory for me.
It was a fun process.

Thank you!
:D

It's just very evocative for me -- of a certain time and place. And it's someplace that I really like to visit every now and then.

I think I might just go with the shorter one...one is over 5 minutes and that's probably not fair since it eats a nice chunk of time.

I can't be bothered to read this again -- what are the criteria for song selection?

Read, Dov. He's hoping within two weeks or so.

And I'll send something in.

Read, Wench... I meant, does the song have to be a certain length? I have a 4 minute and an 8 minute one I am considering.

BOO YAH!

OPA wishes them to be less than 5 minutes.

Dale - how long on the blurbs? 4 sentences, or a couple of paragraphs? It seems like the backstory is important, ?

as long as it is not 20 minutes long
is not really helping me....I'll be safe and go with the 4 minute track.
