Are you implying that Asians aren't well-endowed? I ask only cause I've been flirting with one recently. I may have to reconsider.

That's the stereotype. But I don't think Asians are any well or less endowed than anyone else.

Mach 3, although I have been fancying switching to the straight razor that they use in the old-timey barber shops.

But that is also an invitation to rapid blood loss.

I use the schick two blade job (the green one). I was informed that the more blades the more irritation. I also us King od Shaves Shaving Gel. I started using this stuff in the UK one summer and now I can't stop.

Timucuans used clam shells to shave. The Spaniards were so incensed at the blatant abuse of shellfish that they gave the Timucuans smallpox. The ones who were disinclined to accept smallpox all came down with lead poisoning. I use a Mach 3 because it sucks only a little less than the alternatives.

Norelco electric daily, Mach III on occasion. Easily the worst part of the day.

Although, my old barber back in NY used to offer shaves with a straight razor and hot lather. Man if that's not the greatest thing ever. Guy was pushing 80 at the time, and talked nothing but sports--old school at its best.

Didn't see your post, definitely follow up on this. I think the trick is in stropping the blade.

Considering the Timucuans would have been mongoloids -- as in, the Asiatic entrant among the three great races --, I doubt they had to shave too often. Thusly, they weren't blowing up the chance of future good paella with their clam-shell razors.

So, the early entry in bio-warfare must have been rooted in something else...

Mach 3 about once a week is all I need to stay reasonably presentable, thanks to light hair and danish blood or I'm just a dirty hippie.

A word of caution: nothing I post should ever be taken literally.

Having said that, I've seen several of LeMoyne's early sketches from the 1560's which show a few savages sporting wispy chin fur.

I have real facial hair only in the chin / mustache zone, and barely at that. So a mach 3 lasts me about 2 months per replaceable blade. That zone's gotta get shaved daily (grows just like anybody else's, and just as noticeable), but I've got it down to a science... shave in the shower w/ no mirror or lather. The sideburns sport about 3 real, black hairs each, and get hit about every 3 or 4 days... otherwise I have peach fuzz with a wierd, thick hair or two in the middle of it. This is why I'll continue to get carded well into my 40's, apparently (29 now).

What they said; I use that M3 Power vibrating s.o.b.

I used an electric for years but was never really happy with it. I actually don't mind shaving that much.

Edit: I do recommend the fine pre shaving gels and soaps and aftershaves and the like (metrosexual shit). It seems to cushion the blow.

I really wanna try this sometime. I rock the beard. I have a Norelco trimmer jobby to keep that in check, and I use the Mach 3 Turbo for the cheeks and neck. I use a pre-wash, Neutrogena gel, and Acqua di Gio aftershave balm...and STILL break out. I have tried every combination from nothing to everything, and this seems to work.

I use the Gillette Sensor, and all my fellow users out there will be happy to know that Target now sells immitation replacement blade packs for about 1/4 the price. I made my first purchase of them a month ago, and they are awesome. I always hated shelling out $10 for friggin' razor blades.

a thinnly-growing blade = one shave a week on the blade on the beard trimmer... Luckily I'm not a Grizzly Adams...

Mach 3 + gel + styptic pencil (which I rarely use but when I was first starting off I couldn't shave without). I shave no more often than every other day.

I ended up with the Mach 3 after I had trouble finding replacement blades for my Mach 2. I don't feel like I'm getting a better shave but I do feel like it takes more time & water to rinse it clean. I couldn't imagine 4 blades

I took a Quattro and soldered it to a Mach 3 to make a seven-bladed thing that can shave half my cheek in one swipe.

Awesome.

You need to get together with Easterbrook. "The Next One Will Have Five Blades" Field just won't have the same irono-kitsch-sarcastic feel on the page, after he learns of your modification.

I use an old Norelco that should probably be cleaned today.
