Yo La Tengo is fairly begging for one of these...
I'll try to get one up next week, when I have the tracks available.
That should be fairly overwhelming.

But there is enough good material available that they could probably hold up to 2 or 3 of these.

Would anybody be interested in a Charles Bukowski tenner? He's a funny little bastid, but it would take me a fair bit of effort (although, it would be a laugh).

Nice, I was thinking of this too. The non Gord's Gold stuff.

In no way does it diminish the greatness of songs like "Canadian Railroad Trilogy" "Early Mornin' Rain," "Carefree Highway," etc, but his gentle album-deep tracks flow so smoothly and beautifully and his lyrical observations are classic. Makes it all seem so natural when he actually put a lot of work into it. So, tracks like "Approaching Lavender" and "Talking In Your Sleep," which are exquisite, usually get squeezed off comps in favor of his story epics and ramble-folk pop hits.

I'll work on this too. I think Bloor ought to do one as well.

Gonna find time to do a Minutemen tenner.

Also, Angry Samoans was a mighty good choice earlier in the thread.

I'd like to see Young Fresh Fellows from someone because I haven't got much by them anymore. Most was on vinyl from years back and has gone missing.

Also, Dead Milkmen, Dead Kennedys and Alice Donut, Half Japanese, Nomeansno,

I used to have Peter Case's Full service No Waiting (I think it was, whatever had Spell Of Wheels on it) and liked it. I think I got it to review for the Flagpole. I had forgotten about him.

I could scratch together a Half Japanese, although it would be fairly limited since I only have, what? three of their releases? Although the one release was a massive two disc set, so I wouldn't suffer from a shortage of songs. So if there is no one else out there with a better collection/desire I could work something up.
