NMR: Yahoo College Football Pick'em League

I started up a league again this year for the board.

Password: Jukeboxer

No Confidence points, just the point spread. You can make your picks 5 minutes before each game. We will use the tie breaker system and one week of games can be dropped this year.

Yeah, we have a hard enough time getting more than a dozen people to compete in this every year, and half the people never make it through the full season.
It's just another way for some of us to ridicule other people about their Obner school.

We are up to six competitors right now with Z, Jagged, FT, Harry and Marco taking part along with myself.
The State of Texas is well represented right now, as is the Pac-10 conference. The SEC and Big 10 territories are sorely lacking representation right now, especially the SEC East.
We could also use some Big (L)East people and the ACC.

How does that constitute an actual athletic conference? They can't even have real tournaments. What school are you actually representing. I'm a Nebraska alum for Grad School and was born in raised in the state, but now I also have to support the University of South Dakota in their first year of D-I Champion subdivision and Great West conference football.

Just made my picks.

I almost just flipped a coin for that Bama/Clemson game.

Saban is dangerous when he has a shitload of time to gameplan a team but I think Clemson is more talented.

Gonna be a good one. Speaking of which, weirdest gathering of people ever this weekend at the Dome.

As happy as I am to lead, I always have at least one shitty week that knocks me to mid-pack.
I just thought I should point out that the defending champion had a crappy week after talking shit to another competitor

So far it is not a good week, a few people have four losses, but most of us have more.
Stop Breathin appears to be the one with the greatest chance to move into the lead, but I'm sure there are more in the same boat as him.
