I sort of forgot about Ambulance LTD. I liked that album a lot at the time but I never listen to it anymore. I need to pull that out again. Are they finished?
apparently, everyone except the singer left the band because of the singer. so i guess he owns the name and is trying to put out another album by himself.

you like Manic Compression over Slip?
yeah, this is a "right time, right place" situation.
slip is really good and i enjoy it, but
manic compression was out at a time when this sound meant the world to me and i latched onto it for a long time. i still listen to it quite a bit too.

Nice on the Lo Borges. Not a single soul album?
after looking the list over five minutes after finishing it, i realized that omission. i could've easily slotted in either doris duke album, paul kelly's
stealing in the name of the lord or carla thomas'
the queen alone, but i'm not sure i listen to them enough to warrant them as favorites. i'm much more likely to grab a pile of soul and r&b 45s, sit next to the turntable and listen to them a couple times each rather than listen to whole albums. still, i adore
i'm a loser and
stealing in the name of the lord, so those are 2 critical oversights among about a dozen i've noticed now that i've actually looked at other people's lists.
