The HorrorPops: Kiss Kiss Kill Kill

Third album by this band, made up of the guy from the Nekromantix and his wife. I've thought of these guys as a god live act (having a hot, bad ass chick for a front person helps there) but have been pretty ho hum about the records. But I think this one is a step in the right direction. More varied than their first couple and with a fuller, less cliched sound. Still heavily Cramps influenced, but they break out of bit more here. And, I'm a sucker for a record with a line like, "Trying so hard to be old-school but goddamn Poison was never cool." The title track kicks ass as well. Nice job on this one.

I got it off of usenet awhile back. I just check the archives and it's no longer there. I could probably up it for you, it'll take a little while though.

Wait, you don't have the 10-disc version, do you? If so, I might need to find a way to acquire it immediately.

Actually this is 11 discs, there's a bonus one as well.

I'll start upping this right now. It'll take some time, but anyone interested just give me a shout.

I saw Pere Ubu open for the Pixies on the Doolittle tour and didn't care for them at all so i've never checked out any of their records before. After seeing them praised for so many years and discovering this on emusic, I decided i should maybe give them another chance. Chance given. This is pretty much garbage.
