Xiu Xiu - Fabulous Muscles, for at least a week...

though Deerhoof - Panda Panda Panda has been splitting time with it since the mini debate yesterday afternoon...

But, if I had to say one, it would definitely be Fabulous Muscles...Such an amazingly pretty/catchy song...

did you catch their show @ the echo on friday? how was it?

I had tix, but it started EARLY, for whatever reason...by the time I got over there after work, it was just about over...
I did catch him/them on Monday night @ The Coop (UCLA) though...it was pretty amazing, espec. with a lot of kids not knowing what they were in for - a localish/college band opened, and people were slowly trickling out during his set....Then again, the kids who sat next to me extolling the integrity of Sub Pop records thought that he sounded pretty good from the MP3 they had downloaded/heard that day, thought Xiu Xiu were on Merge, asked each other "Is he really going to sing like that the whole time?" after the first two songs and supposedly (I had since moved to get a better view) couldn't quit asking each other about the lyrical content of "Fabulous Muscles" throughout the song....

i absolutely refuse to go shopping (for anything,m really, but especially groceries) without a loaded 'Pod and headphones. It makes the experience infinitely more enjoyable. I made the switch when i came to the conclusion that I can't go shopping high anymore on account of the dozens of boxes of cereal that i kept coming home with. Krunch Berries do not a wholesome dinner make.

This was the first that came to mind when I opened this thread. But, on further inspection, I'll go with Travis' "Love Will Come Through".
