I know there was a thread or two about the possibility of a Watchmen movie a while back. So, I thought some of you might be interested in this. In an attempt to turn every Alan Moore comic into a movie (From Hell, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Constantine/Hellblazer), they are making a V for Vendetta movie. Natalie Portman is is in it.

This could be really good. Definitely one of the finest comics of the 80's, and I think very adaptable to the big screen.

I have no idea what Vendetta is about but did you look at the photo gallery in the warner bros. link?

That's an freakin extensive set just for a press conference. More proof that Hollywood has more money than they know what to do with. Judging by their past movie track record I"ll probably be skipping this.

Just finished reading V the other day, Portman's gonna be awesome, as the character is kind of an older version of her character from the Professional...an abandonded girl living with and helping out a killer. different objectives though.

awesome comic though i have reservations about their prospects of getting the artwork/style/design right in the movie.
