I'll be in Montreal and Quebec City from 12/13-12/20 -- we were advised by many people including governmental officials not to drive through Mexico right now, if anyone remembers the thread about my previous plan -- any Canadian Obners or people who've visited have recommendations on things not to miss? I tried doing a search and was amazed at how many pages came up until I realized they all just found posts about Of Montreal.

I've only said I was going to Atlanta and Mexico. I went to Atlanta for a very short stay, but I'll be back in Spring. I was advised against going to Mexico but I'm going to Montreal now and the plans are set.

If either of you visit this thread, let me know if there are any good shows that week. I don't know anything about clubs in the area.

I spent a week in Quebec City a few years ago, stayed in the old part of the city, but I can't recall the hotel. It was in the summertime, so right now there's probably tons of Winter Carnivale type events. I mainly just walked around and took pictures historical shots of the city, Plains of Abraham etc. It still ranks as one of my favourite drinking cities.

i went there a few years ago and had a lot of fun. there was a cool dive bar we went to a lot but i can't remember the name of it. i think it probably has the highest ratio of hottest women of any place i've ever visited.

edit: remembered the name of the bar, bifteck.
