anyone have a link to a good download for OSX?

i've tried the following:

mactheripper: no longer free beta version
aimersoft: trial version available, but has 3-minute watermark
handbrake: not launching for some reason

i'm not looking to pirate any movies, just make some copies of my dad's trip to ecuador

i don't understand- are your dad's trip movies copyrighted? can't you just copy the disc?

unless i misunderstand the process, you have to rip dvds to a hard drive before you can encode and burn copies

at any rate, i DLd an older version of handbrake and was able to copy it
