source tags and codes was pretty good. man they shit the bed in every possible way since then. that cover art is certainly not rad, just like all their over shitty cover art and music.

Hearing a song from STAC in Friday Night Lights s2 the other week made me want to go back to the album. I think I will do that on the way to my soccer game tonight.

I'll give these guys credit for polarizing people. Ever since Worlds Apart came out, you can't mention them without getting a diatribe about how they now suck.

their cover art has always been embarassing, but there have been more than a couple really good songs on each album since source tags and codes. i don't think they'll ever match that album again, but if that ep released a few months ago is any indication, this new one should be no different than the last few.

Huh, I thought "Festival Thyme" was a very nice return to form. Has me really looking forward to this (as I've already said).

Still very good, but I've never been on the 10.0 bandwagon.

I'm listening to this for the first time now. I'll need to give it a few more listens but I think I like it better than the last three at least. It's definitely closer to sounding like STAC than any of those.

This is going to sound huge live. I'm definitely gonna pick it up, which isn't saying much considering I've bought every other release from them.

If you pre-order the cd from Newbury Comics, you can get a special version with cd booklet autographed by the band. It's 12.99 + shipping.
I did this.

I love STAC and enjoyed a couple songs from their last two albums. I really like this new album so far. it doesn't top STAC, but it's definitely their best since then. Thanks for posting the link.

I'm listening to this for the third time this week and really digging it.

The opening track reminds me a little of the intro to Funeral of a Friend (Love Lies Bleeding) by Elton John. I like it but it's a bit cheesy.

finally getting 'round to this today (actually on my second listen), and it is really good. at this point it still doesn't match STAC, but i agree that it is definitely their best effort since then.

saw them last night at the echo. i was very impressed. they put on a really rad live show.

they were also selling Conrad Keeley's art at the merch booth. i still maintain that it's good.

This is still getting repeated spins from me. Probably my #2 or 3 of the year right now. It's one of those that gives me a different favorite song from it every week or so. That's always a sign of an album that I really dig.
