I'm gonna hold out for the release (as usual). I'd love to get this on vinyl, if possible, but Warp vinyl tends to be pricey.

Two Weeks is probably the best song they've ever written

So according to these comments, this is a really bad rip. Is this true?

heard the song live on letterman and other bootlegs, one of the best songs I've heard in a while...sometimes a band won't do the song justice in the studio

i.e. The Strokes - The Way It Is...brilliant live when I heard it pre-release, sucks on the album.

It's a bad rip, yeah. Only worth previewing the album until a V0 copy leaks, but for now, it'll do. It's not like it's unlistenable though.

what a grower. wasn't impressed with it back in march. then a month ago "dory" came up on shuffle and it began. hooked. hooked bad. the type of hooked that happens to me once or twice a year.

i have come to the conclusion that this album is unstoppable. i played it through twice yesterday and 3 times in a row this afternoon. there's not a bad song out of the bunch.

sitting in my top 3 of the year now, and I'd expect it to be there come Christmas.

I wasn't a huge fan of Yellow House. For those well acquainted with both yellow house and this new one, comparisons? should I revisit the debut or have they really taken it to the next level with Veckatimest?

So true. This record is excellent. I was stunned by it in March, then it faded on me a bit, now it's out and I'm full on. I should stop listening to it until I own it. I haven't worn out my mp3s yet, like I tried to with "Merriweather" and "Middle Cyclone".
