So I started playing music with this girl about months ago. Nothing crazy, almost all covers, not too different from what I do know. And no, not music anyone on this board would probably like. But she's got a good voice in my opinion, and she's started writing songs.

Last week I convinced her to enter one of her songs into a radio contest here in Milwaukee called KISS ICON. They're the local pop station around here.

Well, out of hundreds of entries, she made the top 20. The contest is set up like American Idol; every night, two songs go head to head, and people vote for the winner.

Bottom line, her song will be played tonight on the radio against a rap group or something. When the song is played people can log on to their website and vote for her.

Only catch is they make you sign up for their KISS KLUB thingy, but I did it and it literally took me under a minute, and you can opt out of any emails and such.

Please vote Amiliegha (Blue) Troutman tonight after 9pm CENTRAL if you have just a second. If she wins, then her and I will be playing one of the main stages at Summerfest, the world's largest music festival. We also would receive some cash for recording, which would be nice.
