i thought it was kind of uninspired. i didn't find it that funny and i didn't think it really had anything to say that isn't pretty much the accepted majority opinion on the guy. the good news is i didn't have to pay a hundopack for it like the poor bastards who were actually there.

I actually found it mildly amusing, and Ferrell kept a lot of his super outlandish BS in check, which made it much more enjoyable.

I hope he made a lot of money on it though....

Same here. Mildly. I actually would be curious to know what Repubs and conservatives thought about it.

I realize that his take on Bush plays off his universally accepted dopeyness, frat boy persona, and general mangling of the English language but he also takes a few pokes at his faith, etc.

A LOT of his fan base is from that very large audience and I'm just curious to what their reaction would be to this take on Saint Bush.
