Lil' Esther And Her Tinstars: Gone Is My Mind

Nothing groundbreaking. Sounds just how the cover looks. Retro rockabilly stuff from a chick who's been making rockabilly records in Holland for about 25 years. Songwriting credits on this to a host of notable rockabilly revivalists. The record plays it pretty straight and does a nice job with it.

Yeah, I have all these under albums under 'Soundtrack' (69 in all) in my iTunes and rarely play them. So here we are.

oh man, Sopranos is going on next. I haven't heard 'Affection' in forever.

oh, I love it! I've been taking out my copy of the criterion edition a bunch lately knowing full well I should watch it. That Zephyr/Revolt interview always cracks me up, because they're such no good punks...
