i had a carhart for scene purposes back then, and then i started working construction so i ended up wearing it for real

it's always pleasantly surprising when clothes legitimize themselves

And I had the oppotise issue... bought 4 pairs to do electrical work in, was too lazy to change to go out to bars, and then started seeing people wearing them to concerts and stuff.

I actually just threw most of those away finally after 9 years. Those fucking things are well-made.

you could have made a little scratch at a consignment shop prolly

i had a rummage sale last summer and i had a big pile of old band shirts and miscellany that wasn't going anywhere. so i stuck a sign on them that said WORK SHIRTS and one lucky plugger bought them all in less than 30 minutes
